From arrival through departure, the service was perfect. We were offered delicious coffee, given tips about local attractions, and staff were always available. Breakfast was fresh each day, served buffet-style, with a good, generous selection. The room and terrace both look out over the lake. Villa Sasso is a spacious villa in a beautifully kept property with a large green garden. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a few days away from the daily grind.

This feels like a dream villa, set in a magnificent park above the lake, with exceptional views and plenty of elegance and refinement. It’s an ideal spot for a romantic stay as a couple. Probably better suited to couples than families with young children.

There’s a unique atmosphere here, and the staff are very friendly. We stayed two nights, enjoyed a good breakfast, and had parking available. It’s a shame there’s no footpath, since Cannobio can only be reached by car. We’d gladly return for a weekend.

A lovely little B&B on Lake Maggiore, with lake views from the rooms. Breakfast is served at an antique table with beautiful inlays. You’ll need to speak Italian, or your English will be broken.
