Antonello was wonderful, greeting us cheerfully and helping whenever we saw him. The staff were all super friendly, and when the room felt a bit warm they even brought in quiet fans. Breakfast was lovely, with eggs made to order and everything we needed. This quaint hotel is at the end of the main street and has what you need for a pleasant stay in Cannobio. I'd happily come back.

Tucked at the end of the old town road, this is a quiet, small hotel and restaurant. I liked the relaxed, less touristy feel, especially sitting in the shade of the marquise with a glass of house wine or cold iced tea. The menu has all the classics plus a few modern takes, and the food is simple and good for a fair price.

We had a lovely start to our holiday at @Hotel Casa Arizzoli. The room had all we needed, and the welcome from the staff was warm. Breakfast was great quality, especially the fresh coffee, and thanks for the free parking. The room looks much better in person than in photos on sites like booking. The location worked well too, just a five-minute walk through the old city centre to the more touristy boulevard. The bar next door was okay, but expensive for the quality. It was a great place for a couple, though I'd leave the kids at home.

I made a booking by mistake, realized it, contacted the hotel directly, and made a corrected booking as well. Hotel Casa Arizolli still wouldn't refund the money for the incorrect booking, which had the wrong date. The owner was rude and made no effort to help.

We regret eating here and agree with the earlier review. The salads were expensive and poor quality, and the carbonara was overcooked spaghetti with scrambled eggs, not carbonara. The Barlo wasn't Barolo either, just a low-quality red wine. Service was friendly, but, as the previous reviewer said, completely unprofessional. Avoid it.
