The air conditioner was my main problem. It didn't really work, and with 35 degrees outside, sleeping was very hard. I know I struggle with summer heat more than most people. It wasn't 35 indoors, but it was clearly 20 to 25, which is insane. Apart from that, the place was nice. Breakfast was kind of poor, though I'm finding that many hotels in Italy keep it very simple. I'm used to eggs, good coffee, which I can't seem to find anywhere in the country, and some cold sparkling water. But that's just me.

The breakfast area was impressive, with real paintings and nice furniture, and the breakfast itself was abundant in a local way. Americans expect more, I guess. I liked the place and will definitely be back. Everyone was extremely friendly, even though they spoke zero English. A couple of WiFi extenders would help, since the internet only worked near my room 208's entrance or in the lobby. Travelers should also know that Italian wall sockets might not fit European plugs. My adapter from USA eBay wouldn't go in, so I had to buy a complete charger and cable in the local standard. Some kind of night soup would be a good idea too, since there are no cafes nearby and driving downtown means you can't have a couple of glasses of great Italian wine or beer. Maybe machines selling sandwiches and beer or wine, as many hotels have.

Very quiet, with clean, basic but functional rooms. The staff were professional and friendly, and the price was excellent for what you get. Highly recommended.
