We barely left the park, just one day to look around Caorle. The private beach is right outside, with plenty of water sports, and there’s so much for children, including amusement rides, an arcade, a big bouncy park, and a sports centre with mini golf. My husband was a fan of the golf course on site. The pools were excellent, with loads of slides, and the well stocked Spar had everything we needed, even goat’s milk for the kids. The shop wasn’t expensive, and there’s a lovely bakery too. Staff were friendly everywhere, especially at the food area on the way to the slides. We couldn’t fault the park and will definitely come back.

You’ll cover a lot of ground at Pra’ delle Torri, so bring a bike, kick scooter, or comfortable walking shoes. We were about half a kilometer from the beach, with shops along the way selling essentials, swimwear, fresh fruit, and plenty of drinks. If you run, you can do a scenic 5K without leaving the resort. Our villa had three bedrooms, a comfortable living space, and a fully equipped kitchen, though we expected a dishwasher and there wasn’t one. We brought an Air Fryer and a Thermomix, which came in handy for making food during the Italian siesta, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Parking was shaded, only 15 meters from the villa, and big enough for a van with a roof rack. At arrival, the grand arched entrance made an impression, and the staff checked us in quickly and explained how to get to our villa provider’s reception. We highly recommend EuroCamp, which we were using for the second time. Pra’ delle Torri is a beautiful coastal resort for families of any age or size, about an hour from Venice. We’re already looking forward to returning.

Terry at the Pra Delle Torri reception was patient, kind, and always ready to help us change our pitch number. The same thing happened a year ago: we were told there were no other pitches free, but Terry managed to sort it out with a smile. Her friendly, efficient service made us feel welcome and made the stay even nicer. We’ll definitely be back for our third visit.

We arrived at reception around 18:00 in our motorhome, hoping to stay just one night, but the receptionist was rather cold and said we couldn’t. Too bad. A camp two miles down the road was happy to take my 90 euros for the night. They could do better.
