There’s plenty around for a family holiday: a small pool, mini golf, football, a children’s carousel, restaurants, shops, a bakery, and takeaway pizza. The sea is nearby, with a small train running there every 20 min, or you can walk to the coast in about 10 min. We’re here for the second time, and the apartments aren’t always very clean. I think it depends on how the previous guests cleaned before leaving. This time, for example, the fridge was dirty and sticky inside. -(

The beach is close, and there’s a little Ali supermarket nearby, with cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The carousel runs from 4 pm until about 1230. It’s about 2 hours on foot to the closest little town of Caorle. Venice is around an hour’s drive, but parking there is outrageous and hard to find.

We stayed in the neighboring Ginepry this year, which has a newer, larger pool. Two years ago we had a ground-floor apartment here. It wasn’t bad, but it was small, the pool was low and smaller than the photo suggests, and the equipment was older.

The beach is only a few minutes away, and there’s a large, well-stocked grocery store or supermarket just as close, open every day. It’s an okay stay if you know what you’re getting. These are no-frills apartments with no service: you cook and clean yourself, and need to bring soap, toilet paper, and bed linen, or buy or rent them at the property. We were promised “1 double bed” but got two separate standard beds pushed together. The advertised Wi-Fi is a joke. To connect, you have to leave your apartment and walk about 200 meters to another building, where the access point is extremely slow, around 1 mbps download. The apartment is quite worn, and some equipment is nearly antique, including a CRT TV.

Good spot for families, but the cleaning fell short of what I expected. I had to clean the room myself. 😏
