The setting is a real plus: the location is great, the beaches and sea were amazing, and the staff were fine. The entrance and ground-floor restaurant also look good. But the rooms feel old and overdue for maintenance. Our toilet was coming apart, the small shower too, and the bathroom looked decades out of date. On some days the air conditioning smelled; its intensity control was broken, and the unit was old, a bit noisy, and dirty. Breakfast offered a decent range, but the products weren’t very good quality. We’d been told parking would be behind the hotel, but it was unregulated and full. They found us another option farther away, which was only a minor hassle. In my view, the hotel didn’t offer good value compared with others. Renovated rooms, better upkeep, and at least higher-quality pastries would bring it in line with the booking price. Edit: The response to my review only reinforced my point. I find it unprofessional to make assumptions about a guest’s finances, suggest that choosing this hotel means they can’t afford better quality, and put them down instead of considering constructive feedback. Good luck. I’m keeping the three-star rating, though the way you treated customers deserves less.

⭐️ Addendum to the hotel’s response This was my second visit, and my family has been coming here regularly for decades. We’d always been happy with the owners’ hospitality and service, but this year that changed a lot, as their response shows. Sadly, our family won’t be returning next year. I want to respond to the points the hotel raised because an in-person conversation was declined. We understand that house rules need to be followed, but it wasn’t clear that terrace seating required ordering food. On our last evening we asked the waitress several times if we could just have drinks, and she said yes. A little later, another waitress told us it wasn’t allowed. We thought that was poor service. We also gave the junior manager feedback and got no response, so we went to the bar at the neighboring hotel. We had no complaint about the beef tartare. We knew the preparation might be different in Italy, and though we were surprised at first, we tried it. We only asked for a sharp knife. Communication was a little difficult because the staff didn’t understand much English or German, but we managed in the end. It’s understandable that a waitress in Italy may not know German. My Italian is probably about as good as her German, but I do think English should be possible at a hotel. The restaurant closing at 3 PM didn’t affect us, since we usually ate in town. There seems to have been a mix-up, as the owner appears to have confused us with another guest who was rude. There was no argument about the tourist tax. My sister paid €1.50 more than I did, which surprised us briefly. I’d actually been charged €1.50 too little and wanted to give her the money, but she wouldn’t take it. She seemed embarrassed about the mistake. It’s sad to see the hospitality decline over the past few years. I don’t know what might be happening privately with the owners, but they used to be friendly and welcoming. I hope they return to that warmth and give future guests a pleasant holiday. Our family will keep vacationing in Caorle each year and will try another of its many lovely hotels next time.

The food was a highlight. Breakfast was included, and we ate dinner at the restaurant most nights. There was enough variety that I never had the same meal twice, and the dishes were good quality and well prepared. Try the grilled tuna steak in sesame seeds. Service was friendly, efficient, and felt genuine. We spent a week at Hotel Levante, Caorle, and had a great stay. Everything in the room worked properly, from the water pressure and drainage to the other amenities. The beds were comfortable, there was a little balcony and a lovely beach view, and the WiFi signal stayed strong. The hotel’s beach umbrellas were right out front and easy to use. Everyone on staff was excellent, from breakfast through our last drinks. This family-run hotel gave us a holiday in Caorle to remember. Thank you!

The pizza was the best in town. The location was very good, the staff were kind, and the daily cleaning was extremely thorough.
