The food was amazing, and the place was clean. The staff were really friendly and nice.

Breakfast was the one real bright spot, with a good buffet and service. The rest did not feel worth the price. There is no private parking, just public spaces or street parking, and it took me over half an hour to find a spot. The room had no air conditioning or TV, only a ceiling fan that was not enough for the hot weather. There was no private fridge either, and the shared hairdryers were never available. The bathroom was cramped and very dated. The shower was almost over the bidet and had no curtain, so water flooded the room every time. With no window, it stayed wet for hours. The locks also felt insecure, using a standard key like something from the 1950s.

Breakfast was a real highlight, and we had a great time during our 6 days with a friend. Francesca puts so much passion into running the inn, and she was very friendly and made us feel at home. The place is clean and has a lovely family atmosphere. It is close to the beach and to two excellent restaurants, Picnic and the lighthouse. Our room was simple but very cute, with a Shabby Chic touch 😊 The bathroom wasn't modern, but it was clean and worked well.

We only stayed one night, so the missing amenities were manageable. The owner explained that renovations are underway, and some things, including air conditioning and a TV, were still not there. The ceiling fan wasn't enough for the heat and humidity of the Po Valley, though. They may add those amenities next year, and they could make a stay more pleasant. The location is remote, about a 20-minute walk from the center, but parking was easy and free, without needing to use paid parking. Breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and beach service was available for a fee.
