The location was the highlight: the sea is very close, the balcony is lovely for sitting in the sun and watching people go by, and there’s another balcony at the back. Lots of nice restaurants and small shops are nearby. We always found a free resident parking space after giving our license plate number, though I can’t say how it works in high season, since other people can park there for two hours. The area itself is beautiful and worth visiting, but we wouldn’t book this accommodation again, especially since it wasn’t cheap. My family and I were quite disappointed, and I’m not usually picky or keen to leave bad reviews. Our apartment had a kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. The double bed was comfortable, but our children found the single beds very uncomfortable. They squeaked loudly with even the slightest movement, so none of us could sleep properly in any of the rooms. The sheets and towels cost extra and came in one large bag with no explanation of what went with which bed. We had to sort out the sizes ourselves. A tip for other guests: lay everything out before making the beds. The lack of proper bed linen is common in southern countries, so I don’t want to criticize that part. The bathroom was functional and fine, and our unit had a shower tray, so water didn’t leak or flood the room. The washing machine was really handy. Other things, though, were already broken when we arrived: a balcony chair and the pasta strainer. There was no regular sauce ladle or pasta ladle, and no champagne or wine glasses. For our four-day stay, we had to buy salt, pepper, a cloth, dish towel, dish soap, garbage bags, and toilet paper. A couple more pots would have helped too. There was no bathroom trash can, clothespins, hairdryer, storage space, coat rack, or large mirror in the apartment outside the bathroom. The TV only had Italian channels, and we couldn’t change them despite searching for a long time. All the towel hooks on the bathroom and shower doors had come off. The bathroom door scraped the floor and took force to close, with a loud squeak. We were careful with the kitchen sofa too, because it sagged a lot and we were worried it might break.

The location deserves five stars, but I’d take two off for the extra services and the interior. We found the place online through an agency, at a high price that matched the advertised period. A parking space was included, but when it came time to pay, it turned out to be on the street. After a few exchanged looks, they offered covered parking more than 500 meters from the property. That wasn’t really a problem. The furniture is suitable for a holiday rental, which is understandable. The main drawback is the lack of a shower tray, despite there seeming to be enough space, and the fixed shower walls can be moved. You can imagine what three showers in a row might do without towels on the floor to soak up the water. That may be expected in a holiday rental, but the price should reflect it. It’s manageable for a week by the sea, though a longer stay would start to feel inconvenient.

The staff member was so friendly, and the apartment felt warm, lovely, and cozy. Very clean and beautiful, with a really central location. Perfect spot, highly recommended! 🌞

It’s very convenient for both the beach and parking, and it also works well for mothers with children. You can cook for the kids and wash clothes there too.
