We stayed for a third year in a row, 2023, 2024 and 2025, and still think the price and service are worth recommending. The rooms are standard, clean, and have what you need for a three-star hotel in the second row from the beach. It's quiet, and the city center is close enough for an evening walk, even with kids. The kitchen and half-board menu stand out, but Rabbi Sikder is the real heart of the hotel. It felt like he worked 20 hours a day, looking after the restaurant, reception, bar, and whatever guests needed, always smiling. Rabbi, thanks for making our stay at villaroma so good. He's the person to turn to for anything.

For an English-speaking visitor, this was a poor experience. The staff spoke Italian and German, but apparently no English. There's no pool, and no beach spot included either, so you have to go to other hotels to get a place on the beach. Breakfast was very small and below any reasonable standard, though the other food was okay. The rooms are old and don't look like the pictures, and although they say there's Wi-Fi, there wasn't any. I'd spend a little more and stay next door at Park Hotel Pineta, which seems perfect for a family holiday. If you expect a three-star hotel here to be like one in France, you'll be unpleasantly surprised. Four stars is really the best to expect.

We waited a full hour for four burnt pizzas, and one wasn't even what I ordered. Some restaurant waiters didn't know which dishes were on the menu and couldn't speak Italian, or at least English. Tourists, trust me, you can eat much better food at other restaurants than in this "restaurant".

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Their tiramisu was the best I've ever had. The room was small but clean. The bathroom was awful, though clean too. Honestly, I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry.
