We were surrounded by citrus trees, olive groves, and beautiful old trees, which gave the place such an authentic local feel. You can see the care and love that go into looking after it. The B&B Macchia D’Olmo sits in a stunning valley overlooking the Paestum coastline, just a short walk from the sea. There’s peace, nature, and beauty at any time of day. I spent a few days here and received an incredibly warm welcome, especially from Umberto and his wife. They were so kind and helpful, always making themselves available. I felt at home and enjoyed my time in Paestum with no regrets, though I did wish I could stay longer. I’d highly recommend the B&B Macchia D’Olmo to anyone wanting to experience Paestum in an authentic way. I hope to return soon to try the excellent local cuisine and see Umberto and his wife again. They make this more than just a B&B, it really feels like a well-earned haven of serenity.

Set among all that greenery, this B&B was a lovely escape from the city noise. We had a really charming stay, with plenty of peace and a chance to unwind in nature. The owners were delightful, welcoming us warmly and always being available. They also suggested some great routes nearby, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Breakfast was one of the highlights: generous, homemade, and full of good local products, fresh pastries, jam, and warm bread. Such a nice way to start the day with a smile. Highly recommended if you like nature, a quiet setting, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely return!

We stayed at the B&B Macchia d'Olmo a few nights ago. The owners are kind and even take time to chat. Their care and attention make this a lovely place to spend a few relaxing days surrounded by the greenery of the hills. Archaeological sites are easy to reach by car.
