Breakfast was very good. The room was nice, clean, and quiet, and Paestum ruins are about a 10-minute drive away.

The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious, but the service and the nightly price didn't match what I'd expected, so I wouldn't recommend booking here. My room was very dirty. At breakfast, it took a long time to replace the bread once it ran out, and dishes were left on the table after people had finished. I had expected a room in the hotel itself. On arrival, I was told it was overbooked and that I should go to another facility a few meters away. When I said I wanted to stay in the hotel, they arranged it, but charged me extra.

Our stay was a really bad experience. Parts of the room were quite dirty, and the staff ranged from friendly to plain rude. The restaurant was often closed, leaving us to walk around looking for somewhere to eat. When a wedding was on, guests couldn't use the swimming pool. This is presented as a four-star hotel, but to me it seemed more like a wedding venue in a run-down area. If you happen to check in during a wedding, you may be put in a shabby extension out back overlooking the junkyard where they keep garbage, as shown in the photos. The place badly needs new management.

The hotel is well located and good overall, though our room could use a little paint and some care. We only stayed one night, and the pool was closed to guests because of a wedding. Apparently that happens fairly often, so think twice if having access to the pool matters to you.
