La Taverna dei Ciucci Bed & Breakfast

The garden and pool were lovely, and we even got to exercise outside in the mornings. This place is run by such a welcoming family that it felt like home. Gina and her parents always had a smile for us, and Pietro and Francesco, along with little Pietro, are talented musicians who gave us a wonderful evening. They also cooked for us, and it was some of the best food I tasted in Italy. Breakfast was really good too, with lots of delicious jams and sweets. Thanks for everything, and see you soon.

After visiting Paestum or the Cilento National Park, it was lovely to unwind by the pool in the garden. The host is very friendly, too.

Mrs. Gina made our two-day stay feel wonderful with her kindness and hospitality. The place was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Gina and her family were such warm, helpful hosts. You can tell Gina really enjoys looking after people. We could use the little anteroom off our room, which had a refrigerator, and spend our evenings sitting in the garden. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in all our years visiting Italy. There was plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory, including fresh fruit from the garden, local cheeses, homemade baking, and good things from the baker and butcher. It’s a small B&B with just two rooms, and everything was clean and well cared for. The garden is lush and beautiful, and the pool is lovely. Our ground-floor room had small windows, but that worked well in August: we could leave them open all day without needing the air conditioning.
