Mandetta Hotel

The room was nice and the location was good, but the staff's attitude was rude and made my mother uncomfortable. They brought up politics because we are Israeli and questioned her about her political views. To me, that felt like an invasion of privacy, as though the two of us represented the Israeli government. For Israelis, I'd say skip it. There are plenty of other places nearby.

The beach was clean and uncrowded, with soft white sand and clear water. I loved being able to wake up to the waves, watch the sunrise from a private balcony, and enjoy the ocean view through the room's floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was modern and spacious, with a comfortable bed, a rain shower, and locally inspired decor. The restaurant was a highlight, too. We had fresh seafood and tropical cocktails right by the water. I recommend the tuna steak and the wine list. Service stood out most of all, with warm, attentive staff who seemed to care about making the stay memorable. From the moment we arrived at mandetta hoteI, it felt like a peaceful little beach escape with luxury and lovely views. It's kids free 😄

The restaurant was the best part for me. It serves excellent local food, especially fish and pasta, at very reasonable prices. We chose half board and found the rates really good. Some of the best meals we had in Campania. The rooms are simple, clean, and no-frills, and the location is excellent, right by the beach and within walking distance of the Paestum archaeological area. For the price, it's a great place to stay in Paestum. Pino and the rest of the staff are warm and welcoming, which made our stay better.

Clean, tidy rooms and a cozy hotel, with the beach less than 50 m away. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance, along with the hotel's own bar and risto. Two small supermarkets are on the same street if you need supplies. The AC in the room was a downside. The Paestum Archaeological park is about 2 km away, and the beach is worth seeing too. Agropoli and Acciaroli are also reachable by train or bus.
