Villa Paestum

Lorenzo and Ines were so friendly and accommodating, and we'd gladly stay again. For a budget-minded couple like us, four nights here felt like very good value. Our air-conditioned room was clean and decorated simply but tastefully. The bathroom was spotless too, with a roomy shower and rainfall head. We chose breakfast and enjoyed the generous spread of Italian pastries, cappuccinos, and espressos. There's a pizza restaurant and pastry shop next door. Two beaches, Lido Internazionale and Lido Marilena, are about a five-minute walk away. Both were fine, though we preferred Lido Marilena. Two chairs and an umbrella cost 25 euro for the day, but beach towels aren't included. The Archaeological Park and Museum are a 10-15 minute drive away. There's no villa parking lot, but free street parking is available.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with Italian-style coffee and juice choices, and the WiFi and hairdryer were handy extras. The young couple who own the place were professional, responsive, and really friendly. The rooms are spacious, with parking just a few feet away, big windows, and two large mirrors. Everything looked new and modern, and it was spectacularly clean. I actually checked the price again because the stay exceeded my expectations so much. Sorry we couldn't stay longer. It felt like a wonderful place to call home.

Really friendly staff, a great breakfast, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The Paestum ruins are about a 10-minute drive away. Excellent stay.

Our heater stopped working at midnight, but they came and fixed it right away. The room was large, clean, and convenient, and the breakfast was the best.
