We spent most of our time outside, so the simple, functional room worked for us, even if it felt a little old and could disappoint anyone with high expectations. The hotel is right by the beach, with plenty of parking, and it's close to the Archeological park Paestum. The sea water is safe and the surroundings work well for a longer family holiday with kids, or a night or two while visiting nearby places. We enjoyed it because it was just what we needed near the beach. There aren't any shops nearby, and getting around without a car is hard. Food options are limited, especially off season. The hotel's restaurant is well equipped, but the food could get boring over a longer stay. We only had breakfast, which was okay.

The bathroom had a couple of problems: the jacuzzi didn't work, the tub wouldn't drain, and the toilet was loud when flushed. The dinner menu is short and doesn't describe dishes well. The pasta with vegetables also had prawns and squid, and although it wasn't very expensive, there wasn't much to choose from. I'd try eating out next time. Otherwise, we had great service from polite, prompt staff, and everything was very clean. Our room was beautiful, with a balcony and sea views. The private beach had free seats and umbrellas with a table, as well as a lifeguard. WiFi and parking were free, and the safe didn't cost extra either. The breakfast buffet was amazing, though one or two cakes may not have been freshly made. There's also a big grassy garden with a few swings for kids.

I can't tell how this place got four stars. The room was really poor quality, breakfast food was bad, and the service wasn't good. Not recommended at all.

A party was happening outside, and we could hear everything in our tiny room. Check in advance if events are planned. Breakfast was minimal too. I guess the four stars are just part of the hotel's name.

The room lighting felt really depressing, and the mattress was so low quality it felt like sleeping on box springs. I had to leave and give up the money I'd paid on Hotwire.
