The rooms are really nice, and the restaurant is excellent. The people there are as pleasant as they come. I’d come back anytime.

Really delicious food.

We spent a night at this lovely farmhouse with our 4-month-old son. The room was clean, well looked after, and fully equipped, and the setting was enchanting. What stood out most was the hospitality, kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. Breakfast was included, with a sweet buffet, homemade jams, and savory dishes prepared fresh if you wanted them. The chef’s scrambled eggs with goat cheese and pancetta were unforgettable. We also ate dinner there and were glad we did: everything was exquisite, made with top-quality local produce and carefully chosen ingredients, and presented beautifully. The spelt tagliatelle with duck ragù deserves a special mention, though really, everything was excellent. Alessandro and Francesca are two wonderful people. We’d definitely come back if we’re in Maremma again.

We had lunch with friends. The place was lovely, and the staff were nice, but the meal and the prices let us down. The crostini were decent, and the desserts were okay. The first courses were bland and under-seasoned, especially the pasta with wild boar ragù. We ordered the cockerel for €20, which sounded like it should be amazing, but what arrived was just flattened legs that didn’t look presentable. Service was good, but the bill was high.
