In Certosa (Karthaus), we found a real gem. The food was delicious and carefully prepared, and the staff were warm and knew their stuff. Stefania and Paul made wonderful hosts, and you can feel their love of the mountains and their care for guests throughout the stay. We’re already planning to return for a longer visit.

We’re still thinking about those breakfasts, and the food throughout our stay was amazing. The spa and saunas were restful, with views that are hard to beat. Everyone we met was friendly and professional, and Lisa at reception went out of her way to help us from the minute we arrived. She made our honeymoon feel special. We can’t wait to come back.

The Golden Rose has the kind of warmth that lets you settle in and enjoy the moment. The host family welcomed us with real smiles, and you can taste the care they put into every dish. Even the little details make the place feel special. Thank you!

The room upgrade from the owners was such a kind surprise, and we really appreciated it. We also arrived during a local event and enjoyed seeing the community come together. Our room had a sauna, and the fresh mountain air made it even nicer. The hotel itself is spotless, with modern decor, and the family and staff make guests feel genuinely welcome. We came for some peace and found it in this lovely setting by the mountains. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the chocolate croissants, easily the best we’ve had. There’s hiking right outside, the location feels safe, and I’d suggest visiting the little chapel nearby. A romantic place to slow down, and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Davide at the front desk really helped me sort out my arrival after airline trouble. My server at dinner was polite, friendly, and helpful, and the meal was exceptional. I couldn’t be happier with the service, atmosphere, food, or location. Goldene Rose Karthaus stands out even among the SLH hotels I’ve experienced. I’d give it 50 stars if I could.
