Mastro Gio

Breakfast was generous and nicely prepared, served in a lovely spacious room filled with an amazing collection of chessboards from around the world. The whole place felt familiar and thoughtfully looked after. Mrs. Maria Teresa was especially kind and helpful, as other guests have said. She was always there at breakfast and ready to help with any request, whenever it came up.

The special breakfasts Maria Teresa prepared with such care, and our sincere conversations with her, are what we'll miss most. Her kindness and willingness to help made our stay at B&B Masto Giò unforgettable. We were also taken with the food in San Giovanni in Fiore, a charming town full of history and tradition. This felt like a place where we were understood and cared for, more than just somewhere to sleep. We left feeling right at home, even better, and will definitely return. We'd recommend it to anyone looking for genuine warmth and hospitality.

The night was peaceful, and our hostess was very kind and attentive. Still, the shower head was broken and the blind wouldn't shut, so we had to leave it open all night, even though our room was on the mezzanine. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and a few more thoughtful touches would have earned extra stars. For parking, it's better to use the main road since the B&B is on a dead-end street and the neighbors understandably take all the spaces.

We were walking the Basilian Way, and the woman welcomed us with great kindness and was so accommodating. When we left the next day, she had made us a truly lavish breakfast.
