Hotel Camigliatello

The location is close to the center of Camigliatello and easy to reach, making it handy for getting around and visiting the area’s most picturesque sights. The common area is lovely, with a fireplace and comfortable sofas for relaxing. The rooms are quite large, have everything needed, and include a lovely balcony. Cleanliness was impeccable in both the rooms and shared spaces, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The whole hotel had a magical atmosphere when I stayed at the Camigliatello Hotel for its traditional New Year’s Eve event. Everything was thought through down to the smallest detail, and I really felt at home. The New Year’s Eve dinner was a feast of delicious food and skillful cooking. After the usual dancing, I slept in a room with a breathtaking view of the woods. In the morning, I welcomed the New Year with a superb sweet and savory breakfast, and the desserts were incredibly good too. I recommend spending a weekend in this lovely place!

The suite is the real highlight at Hotel Camigliatello: roomy, romantic, and carefully renovated with the comforts and style of a luxury hotel. We had a lovely December stay there. The welcome and a few services were less convincing. Our room hadn't been warmed up when we arrived, and at a four-star place we expected a chance to wait in the lobby with a welcome drink while it heated. We also had some mix-ups over excursions arranged through the hotel, apparently because communication with the outside providers was unclear. I'd book those directly once there. The property itself is well renovated and feels right for its four-star category.

We happened on this hotel and were glad we did. The restaurant managed to fit us in for a very good dinner at short notice, and breakfast was generous, with fresh local products. The wait staff were attentive and courteous throughout. The hotel has a classic, high-quality look after a recent renovation, and the location is handy, with private parking too. Everyone welcomed us warmly and professionally. We'd happily come back.
