Hotel Cristallo

The staff were flexible, kind, and willing to help with any needs, and the food was truly excellent during our two-night half-board stay at Hotel Cristallo. The rooms were clean, but small and quite retro, with a CRT TV and a shower that had a yellowish sheen. They seemed expensive for their appearance, which is what keeps me from rating the stay higher. Still, I can't say I was dissatisfied.

The traditional cooking was excellent, though there's room for personal preference. Getting around was easy from this very central spot, on foot or by car, and guests have private parking. Inside, the carefully maintained 1980s finishes made things comfortable, with effective heating, clean and comfortable rooms, and plenty of seating areas for relaxing or socializing. The staff were accommodating, courteous, and helpful. Before leaving, I had to say thank you for the stay. Thanks again, and see you soon.

Our children got comfortable at the hotel so quickly they didn't want to leave. The staff were polite, kind, and helpful from the start, and the heating made the atmosphere especially cozy. Rooms were clean and well equipped, with antique-style furnishings that have been modernized. The food was excellent, typical of the area, and went down well. The whole place is high standard, and the hospitality deserves a sixth star. We'll gladly come back.

The traditional dishes were plentiful, tasty, and top-notch, and the staff were always friendly and ready to help. The owners were available whenever needed. Everything was lovely, from the rooms to the hotel's location. Highly recommended for a nice weekend in the snow and a visit to the Sila National Park. A+!
