Not a great stay. The view is the only real plus. The rooms are functional, but nothing more, and the view terrace is shared by four or five rooms. We arrived in October to find nobody there at all. We had to track down the owners by phone and wait while local helpers got the place ready. Then came the surprise at the end: cash only. Nobody had told us.

We loved how quiet it was, with nature all around, and the vegan breakfast was delicious. The property feels charming and is clearly well cared for. Erico (not Enrico) and Paula were warm and helpful throughout.

I’m giving the lowest rating available because I never made it to the property, and the issue was with Mr. Erico’s conduct, not the place itself. From my first contact, when I was only asking for basic information, he came across as unfriendly and unpleasant. I had booked two nights a few months earlier through the B&B’s official website, not Booking. The terms shown there said a deposit had to be paid within five days to secure the reservation, and I paid it promptly. The confirmation email also included the terms. I understood that the remaining balance would be due when I arrived or checked out, as it is at properties everywhere. The day before the stay, Mr. Erico sent a WhatsApp message with a screenshot saying the balance could not be paid that way, and a link asking me to pay it. I replied that the agreement did not require advance payment of the balance and asked him to stop trying to collect it from my account. In the WhatsApp exchange, he said he was entitled to request payment early, although I couldn’t find that stated anywhere, and threatened to cancel if we didn’t pay that day. I repeated that the contract had no such clause and that I would pay on arrival the next day. Instead, the B&B emailed to say the booking was cancelled, and Mr. Erico messaged that he had refunded my deposit by bank transfer. Cancelling the day before we were due to leave caused my partner and me quite a few problems. Make of that what you will. To me, the positive reviews mean little when the property is managed this way.

We stumbled across this gorgeous place and ended up staying in February during a storm. It was clean and comfortable, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in summer. Alessia, who checked us in, was incredibly welcoming and kind. The owner was also quick and just as kind when we made the booking. I’d recommend it to anyone hoping to find somewhere special 🥰🌈✨🌞🌙💛
