My son will remember this birthday as one of his favourites. We stayed the night at the B&B after a cooking class for him, and the whole experience felt comfortable and homely. Erika was fantastic and friendly, and got the kids involved in cooking. The food came straight from the garden and was delicious. We made a four-course meal and had some excellent local wine, with a wonderful Italian teacher whose English was fantastic. Being out in the beautiful countryside made it even better. It was a great way to experience local history, culture, and family tradition. We travelled in summer (2021), and the aircon in the upstairs room was fantastic. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable. This is a top place to visit, and we’ll definitely return one day!

We wish we’d booked more nights at this countryside gem near Lucca and Pisa. When we arrived, Erika had cooked the meal we’d booked for that evening, and it was exceptional. She also gave us excellent help and recommendations, and made the place feel friendly and comfortable. Our stay at Dolce Vita B&B was unforgettable.

Lucca is only about 15 minutes away by car, and the area around the B&B is lovely for hiking or bike rides. We had a fantastic holiday at Dolce Vita B&B, thanks in large part to Erika, such a thoughtful host who really wants your stay to be just right. We also took Erika's private cooking class. She's a chef, and the afternoon in the kitchen was amazing, with delicious food and a great experience all around. Definitely book a class, we can absolutely recommend it. We'd love to come back. For us, this is the best place to stay in Tuscany.

We came for Erika's cooking class rather than staying at the B&B. The food was excellent, she explained everything well, and even our teenagers enjoyed it. We can't wait to try the recipes at home. It's about 15 minutes from Lucca by car, and well worth the trip.
