Le Vigne

The pool was spotless and just the right temperature, and the local food is a real treat. Shops and restaurants have lovely local fruit and vegetables, olive oil, wine and more. We also highly recommend having the local private chef and her husband come over to make their sublime 10-course meal. The villa is modern, with air conditioning in almost every room and very good Wi-Fi throughout. There's TV with local and national channels, a pool table downstairs, and toilets and showers on every floor. The kitchen and pool room have no air conditioning or fans, though you can open the windows. There are no mosquito nets or screens, so expect to spend a lot of time swatting mosquitoes. The beds were very hard, and I actually came away with back pain. The sun loungers are awkward to use, and the fixed position of the garden umbrella makes it difficult for a group to sit in the shade together. It's in a rural farming area, so there can be lawnmowing and other loud engine noise during working hours and at weekends. That's hard to avoid around farms.
