Tenuta Gaetano Spadaro

The appetizer was so meager there wasn’t enough for everyone, and the todelli were anything but good. The food was awful, with such small portions that, thankfully, we left even hungrier than when we arrived. The people running the place were worse still. The owner treated us rudely and arrogantly, like a real jerk. Highly not recommended. First and last time.

The food was terrible and there was very little of it, despite the exorbitant price. The staff panicked when they had to handle a birthday party with a fixed menu. The owner was a total jerk, completely incapable of managing the place and not even honoring the agreements for the evening. Truly awful!

For anyone looking for peace and quiet near Lucca, this is the place. The estate is lovely and tranquil, and Gaetano was very kind and helpful. Every suggestion he gave us was excellent. Thank you so much. Roberto & Annabelle

Never again! We were promised two rooms for a birthday party, but the family used one of them to eat. We couldn’t put on music until they left, after 11 PM. We were charged for people who didn’t come, and the kids were charged the same as adults despite being promised they’d pay half. “Mr. Gaetano” is a rude guy, anything but a gentleman. We spent twice as much and ate half as much. The food was measly!
