Urban Hotel

We booked two single rooms because the hotel is close to Cesena train station, making a quick trip to Ecomondo easy and letting us avoid Rimini's queues and crowds. The rooms were large enough for proper beds, but both had iron bunk beds with 190x70 cm mattresses. Those felt more like berths and weren't suitable for adults. It's hard to understand why they didn't use standard 200x90 cm beds instead.

There isn't a proper reception, and check-in was at 3 PM even though 2 PM was advertised. The girl who came to help was very kind, but if you feel unwell, that delay could leave you waiting all day. They also ask you to leave your keys when you go out. When we came back needing the bathroom urgently, the cleaning lady had taken them and nobody knew where they were. We were locked out and had to call the receptionist, who directed us to a public bathroom. Completely unacceptable. Accessibility was another problem: there was no elevator, and the stairlift was out of order, so the disabled facilities were either missing or unusable. Sheets are changed every three days, not daily. I really don't understand what's wrong with this hotel.

We only stayed one night, but everything was great and the place was clean and central. It's near the train station, though we heard just one train, at 7:00 a.m., and weren't disturbed.

The bed was exceptional, and the bathroom was spotless. Towels were soft and scented, and changed every day. Even though the room was small, it had all the comforts, and the staff were super friendly. It exceeded all my expectations and deserved every star. The hotel is just steps from the Acropolis, near the plaza at the National Museum in Athens, the capital of Greece.
