I emailed the hotel a few weeks ago and paid for a room in full. When I turned up today at 1400, the garage car park was chained and padlocked, every door was locked, there were no lights on or Wi-Fi network, and the phone number was disconnected. I can only guess it's shut down. Thanks for nothing.

The main thing you're paying for is the location, right by Cesena train station, and they can store your luggage. The hotel looks old and out of style. My room was clean, but €70 for a single room didn't feel like a deal. The handle on the bathroom tub was loose and fell off. Breakfast was included. The young woman at reception could improve her attitude when guests ask about a late checkout. She acted nice but said I could stay until 1 pm only if I paid the full rate for another day. One of the more disappointing replies I've had from the Italian hotels I've stayed in over the past two months.

I booked two single beds but got the tiniest double room ever. There was hair in the sink drain, the water came out yellow at first, and the hairdryer was weak and loud. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the Wi-Fi slow, and there was barely space to move around. The nearby train station made it noisy, and the treatment was just subpar. At least the included breakfast was nice.

Reception was great, and the room service was awesome.

The staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean, though a little small. It's a fairly satisfactory hotel.
