That pool was a lovely place to unwind after all the walking, and the location made getting around easy. The apple juice and jams at breakfast were really good, though the rest of the breakfast was nothing special. The room carpeting was a letdown.

We had a great view and the location was fantastic. The family running the place were so warm and attentive, and even took care of our little extra requests. Our room was spotless, breakfast was delicious, and the price felt like very good value. I'd happily stay here again.

We explored the area by bike, and the sunny location worked well for reaching Merano, Lake Resia, Glorenza, and the Stelvio Pass. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with fresh products and no unnecessary packaging waste from jars, trays, or assorted plastics. The room was spacious, simple, clean, and well kept.

For biking, hiking, or taking the Vinschgau Railway to nearby towns every half hour, the location in the middle of Val Venosta is hard to beat. Trails start right nearby, so active travelers have a great base here. The room was clean and simple, with what I needed and a fantastic valley view. The landlady was friendly and always happy to chat. Just don't rely on her online weather forecast 😉. I'd book Pension Obergrundgut again if I came back to the area.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and breakfast was a real treat, especially the homemade apple juice. It felt quiet, relaxed, and homey throughout. A lovely stay, definitely recommended.
