Casa Vacanze Grancia

Francesca and Alessio made us feel very welcome and were around to answer questions or share information. It’s a lovely spot for anyone who wants peace, nature, or a place that works well with pets, and the sea isn’t far away. The house isn’t new, but it’s been kept in excellent shape, and everything works properly. The kitchen has what you need, and linens are provided for the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. I’d happily recommend it.

The owners were kind and ready to help during our 10 days here in August. It’s a beautiful place surrounded by the Maremma countryside. I’d recommend staying here.

Grosseto is only a five-minute drive away for shopping and other essentials, and the closest beach takes about 20 minutes to reach. This is a good option for a short stay if you want to get away from crowded holiday spots. The owners, Alessio and Francesca, are friendly and helpful. The house is out in the Maremma hills of Tuscany. It’s dated, though clean, and I think a few small improvements would help.

The best part for us was the huge terrace with its lovely view over the chickens, rabbits, and pigs, plus a play area where the kids could play safely. We arrived to a really thoughtful spread in the kitchen: milk, snacks, sweets, tea, and a coffee machine with capsules. There was even ready-made sauce, handy if you get in without having planned a meal. Francesca and her husband are delightful. They made us feel at home right away and were always available to help us find things in the area. We stayed in mid-March and would definitely come back. The apartment was very clean and spacious, and the vacuum cleaner and cleaning products were especially useful with a small child. It has a bedroom, a bathroom with a large shower, a washing machine, hairdryer, and bathroom heater, though the apartment was so warm we didn’t need it. There’s also a living room with a sofa and TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave. Thanks again for such warm hospitality. See you soon.
