The pool is four feet deep, which worked well for the kids to play, float, and swim. The owner seems very nice and has it professionally cleaned several times a week. There’s a self-service laundromat down the street and a great gelato bar in the other direction. The location is excellent, with a view over Lucca and a couple of old bell towers just down the hill. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

It’s on the hillside, reached from Via Nuova in Badia di Cantignano, though the driveway isn’t marked. I tried adjusting the Google Maps pin to make it more accurate. If that doesn’t help, the street name, hillside location, and online photos may point you in the right direction. Finding it from the directions or address can be tricky, but it’s still a wonderful place. I’d happily visit again.
