After a busy few days in Florence and the Cinque Terre, this was a lovely place to slow down. The owners were friendly and made us feel welcome, even though we didn’t have much language in common. The pool was perfetta! For a stay longer than a few days, I’d recommend having a car. We came by train to Lucca, then took the E18 bus from town and walked the last bit. A gentle walk north along the aqueduct gets you to groceries and a restaurant, or head south to peaceful Parole d'Oro for a picnic.

It’s a quiet spot with a huge garden, just outside Lucca. The owner was super friendly and always ready to help. The location is great for a beach day or a trip to Florence.

We chose villa rossini for our wedding and as accommodation for our family, and it was absolutely stunning. The property, surroundings, and people are all beautiful. Every apartment and accommodation was well equipped and cared for, and Lucca is very close. Whether you’re travelling with a group, your family, or as a couple, really go to villa rossini!

We’ve stayed here twice and already miss it. The family are so friendly, and the apartments are finished to a high standard. It’s handy for getting into Lucca, and you can borrow their bikes and cycle there.

Only 10 minutes from Lucca, the villa is in a lovely countryside setting. Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and had everything we needed.
