The rooms and shared spaces were very clean, and the beach and sea were clean and felt safe too. Rooms have sea views, with plenty of space, comfort, and tasteful furnishings. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the restaurant food was excellent. There’s a bar and restaurant/pizzeria on site. It’s only a few minutes by car from Capo d'Orlando and Brolo, and seems ideal for families with children. Highly recommended for a really relaxing holiday.

The setting is fantastic, and the sea is beautiful. The bar makes very good sandwiches, breakfast was good, and things were generally acceptable as long as you don’t arrive with high expectations. Getting to the rooms means tackling steep slopes and stairs, though. My room’s air conditioning didn’t work, and they never repaired it. I was also charged for two beach passes when I essentially got one. I messaged the receptionist about it and got no reply.

Baia Verde is right beside a bay that’s so lovely it’s hard to overstate. The building itself isn’t new, but my room was very clean and had everything I needed. The owners and staff are warm, friendly, and do their best to accommodate guests. It’s all run by a family, the value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend it. I could imagine staying here for life.
