The pool was the only redeeming part of our stay. I'd suggest going just to use it, even if you have to pay an entrance fee. The building is run down, and the photos may be from a few years ago. The road is difficult without a car and not walkable at all, so watch your suspension. There is a shuttle, but it only runs twice a day. For every trip, you have to call the driver and hope he's available. Our room was at least four hours late and wasn't clean at all, with mold everywhere. Breakfast was also a letdown: the homemade cakes and croissants we'd been promised were supermarket bought, nothing was made on site, and the croissants cost extra. There's no entertainment or entertainment organization. They don't have an agreement with the lido, they just handle bookings, and a spot costs 10 euros at the standard price. You can eat there for lunch or dinner. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't excellent either. I'd recommend booking through Booking.com so you can form your own impartial opinion.

We stayed just one night and one day as a group of three. The place is quiet but not too isolated, and inside the apartments we couldn't hear much road noise or neighboring guests. The hotel and apartments are only a few meters from the highway and its support pylons, but the doors and windows are solid and provide good sound insulation. Our unit was on the mountainside, a few meters from the hotel center, and you need a car or motorbike to reach it because the road goes uphill. From outside, the country-style accommodations look charming and welcoming. Inside, I thought the furnishings could use a refresh, though the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay: beds, pillows, bedside tables and lamps, shelves, a wardrobe with hangers and extra pillows, and a large mirror. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, bidet, shower mat, towels, hairdryer, hand soap, shower gel and shampoo, toilet paper, and another large mirror. There was an empty mini-fridge for drinks or food, air conditioning, and a mosquito net. The area is surrounded by nature and has lots of mosquitoes and butterflies. Some units have clotheslines, but ours didn't. There was a small table and plastic chairs outside. The reception staff were kind and helpful. The short-haired woman, whose name I unfortunately don't know, was friendly and smiling from start to finish, even early in the morning. Breakfast is made up of frozen products reheated as needed, though there is a good selection. The pool is large but shallow. I'm 1.70 meters tall and could touch the bottom almost everywhere, and I don't think it even reaches 1.80 meters. It has a separate children's pool, showers, sun loungers, camp beds, and inflatable toys available to rent for an extra fee. There's parking, and a shuttle takes residents to Lido 147, owned by the hotel, directly in front of Capo d'Orlando beach, for a fee.

We spent an afternoon at the pool, and it was ideal for families with children, with a handy children's pool too. Trees around the pool make it a pleasant spot to unwind in the shade. There's also a bar where you can get a meal.

The restaurant service was the one downside. It seemed disorganized and unprofessional, though I can't say what the food is like because I never got to eat there. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The spacious, clean rooms are independent studios, set amid nature, and the pool is huge and well maintained.
