Magico Appartamenti Scafa

We only planned to stay one night, but the place won us over and we added two more. The apartment is roomy, clean, comfortable, and has a large bathroom. It sits among nature with a lovely view of the Aeolian Islands, and there's private parking. We made good use of the kitchen, sun terrace, barbecue, and outdoor laundry area with its clothesline, coffee maker, cookware, and dishes. Everything is kept in excellent condition, and the host was so helpful. The harbor is just a two-minute drive across the way, with bars, restaurants, a tobacconist, a small supermarket, and ferries to the islands. We were really pleased.

I've stayed here three times now, and after trying three kinds of apartment, I liked the one with the big private terrace best. Each unit has its own parking spot, and the staff are very friendly. The villa has eight apartments, with a shared rooftop split between sunny and shaded areas, plus a communal washing machine. The rooms are spacious and nicely equipped. The view takes in Capo d'Orlando harbor and the Aeolian Islands, and it's breathtaking.

We only had one night, which was a shame because we already want to return. From the terrace we watched a stunning sunset with a glass of chilled white wine. The accommodation was welcoming, clean, thoughtfully furnished, and had every comfort. The hostess was lovely and always available, helping us through virtual check-in and answering questions or sorting out any issues. Such a pleasant stay!

The location above the harbor makes it easy to reach the main beaches and the port for ferries to the Aeolian Islands, and the views are lovely. The apartment was clean, and the hosts were helpful without hovering. It was short on a few basics, though: paper towels, seasonings, pots and pans, and cutlery, with only four pieces of cutlery. Still, I highly recommend it.
