We were sorry to leave Michaela & Silvio’s lovely holiday home and their company. Before we’d even arrived in Italy, they helped us find the best possible price for the ferry and accommodation. Silvio then showed us around town, explained alternative driving routes, and pointed out the best sunset viewpoints. He also guided us to parking right in front of our apartment, and they gave us restaurant tips and helped arrange a big Aussie/Italian BBQ on the porch. The two apartments we booked were modern, comfortable, beautifully furnished, and well equipped, with lovely views. They’re only 100 meters from the town center. The white & leafy iron gates caught the eye of everyone passing by while I sipped wine on the balcony. They were the most amazing hosts of our month-long Italian holiday. When we left, they surprised our baby boy with a lovely toy he still loves, and gave us a memento to remember the trip before we departed from rome. Thank you so much, Michaela & Silvio. We hope we can stay again when we make it back. All the best from the Petrig & Graziano family.

We had an amazing stay, and would happily come back if we get the chance. The owners are lovely and always available for questions. Our apartment had a modern bathroom, a comfy bed, and a smart tv. There’s a barbecue in the garden too, so make use of it.

We only had two nights, but I could happily have spent our whole time on Elba here. What a lovely welcome from such kind, helpful people when we arrived by taxi! Silvio even showed my husband where to find the Mare bus, the squares, and a great spot for sunset. Highly recommended.

Capoliveri is adorable, so make time to wander around the city. Michaela and Silvio were gracious hosts, and Silvio met us outside the city center and led us to the apartments along two different routes. We chose their smallest apartment, which was still spacious enough for the two of us and laid out well.
