The rooms are on the small side, but tastefully furnished. The beds could be more comfortable, and breakfast could offer more variety, though the delicious coffee helps. We also really liked the dinner at the local restaurant, and the chefs and waiters deserve a lot of praise for their professionalism. The hotel has everything you need, including its own beach, pool, parking, and restaurant. I appreciated having a reserved spot on the beach; it should be like that everywhere. The pool with its whirlpool was a good alternative to the beach when the waves got bigger, especially with children. There's also a nice playground and friendly animators. We had a wonderful holiday here with my family and definitely recommend it.

The hotel grounds, pool, and beach are nicely laid out and well kept, and the location is perfect. There's enough parking, with shade roofs. At dinner on the lovely terrace, the waiters worked hard and were extremely friendly, though our order was several times wrong or forgotten altogether. The food and evening menu were average, just okay. Our room wasn't ready until more than two hours after the stated time, and we were given a different one than we had booked. It was in a private house 300m away, on the lower first floor of the rear annexe, in an apartment that felt like a converted garage. It was a bit musty, with lots of mosquitoes and vermin. The furniture was basic and quite worn in places, and there was hardly any equipment: no bottle opener or hairdryer. The beds and mattresses were good, as were the bathroom and shower, but water pressure was very low. There weren't keys for all the patio doors and shutters, which made locking up difficult and often left the apartment dark. Billing for food and drinks at the bar and restaurant wasn't clear or transparent: everything was charged to the room without comment. The final bill was confusing, with individual days and transactions no longer visible.

Back at the Antares for the 4th year running. Heaven on Earth, plain and simple. It's understated and cool, with phenomenal staff, food, and a beach to die for. Couldn't recommend it more. Fantastic.

A quiet place for a relaxing holiday, with lovely views and a private beach. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean, and there were good choices at breakfast and dinner.

Right on the beach, with a pool too. Great hotel.
