The owner is a really friendly guy and always ready to help. The place itself is nice, and the location and view are lovely, though the house is just okay. There are only five bedrooms, and air conditioning in four of them. The advertised sixth bedroom is beside the upstairs living and dining area, separated by a curtain. The company running it had staff who weren’t well prepared, and picking up the key on the first day was a struggle. Parking is easy for three cars, and four can fit, but the last one in is the only one that can get out. The tight space and steep road can also make parking tricky. A nice place to stay if you can work around those drawbacks.

The villa looks nothing like the beautiful place in the picture. It’s old and poorly maintained. We couldn’t use the pool for three days because of algae, and even after the pool guy added chemicals, the bottom was still green and disgusting. The old deck has screws sticking up in places, making it unsafe for kids and adults alike. Air conditioning barely worked, or didn’t work at all in several rooms. The kitchen was poorly equipped, without even a microwave, which families with children really need, and the sink leaked everywhere. The barbecue was a tiny camping model, not suitable for a large family or group. There was mold in the bathroom and several other rooms, cracked stucco throughout, and the provided linen was stained and full of holes. I definitely wouldn’t recommend renting this villa.
