The pool was lovely, very clean and bigger than it looks in the photos. The farmhouse itself is also very nice, with a courtyard where you can find some privacy, though the two friendly dogs and a few cats are hard to avoid. Our room was spacious and nicely finished, as was the kitchen. The mattress seemed a little old, but it was manageable for a few nights. We stayed at Lisa's during a heatwave, with temperatures over 35 degrees. The fan in the room didn't do much, and with no mosquito screens on the windows or doors, we couldn't leave them open at night. We had a few sleepless nights because of the heat and mosquitoes. It's a beautiful location, but difficult to find: Google Maps didn't pick up the road, there aren't clear signs, and the roads are rough. Drive slowly and ask for directions if you get lost. We'll come back with a better fan and plenty of mosquito spray.

Lisa, the owner, has such a big heart and is disarmingly kind. The place is enchanting, simple and free of city stereotypes. We felt at home, and the furry ones are in paradise. Manu and Andrea can only thank you, not just for a super week of vacation, but also for the lovely people who spend time at your home. Thank you so much! Thanks from us Venetians!

It's a lovely, peaceful place with a big pool and a nice lawn, and pets are welcome. There are also pleasant walking paths nearby. The catch is how remote it is: no shops or restaurants nearby, so you'll need to drive miles each time. Best suited to people who plan ahead and bring food to keep in the fridge.

Lisa is a special host, attentive and friendly, and she really makes guests feel at home. We had a week of pure relaxation in this magical place. Don't worry about the final stretch of dirt road, just follow Lisa's directions. Google Maps only gets you close to the property. We'll be back!
