A nightmare for the two weeks we stayed. The housekeeping staff were STEALING from rooms, and the bathroom had mould everywhere, along with dirt and grease. There was a leak, cobwebs on the ceiling, and a disgusting smell in the room. There was NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!! despite the advertising, and nobody speaks English. Breakfast was very poor, and you had to get up early because they wouldn't replenish food once it was gone. Dinner had no taste at all. The beds were too small and uncomfortable, and loud music from the restaurant played on Saturdays. Not recommended. This hotel may have had three stars twenty years ago.

We liked the spacious rooms, the excellent location right across from the sanctuary, and the good, plentiful food. The hotel feels a little dated, but it's very clean. We'll definitely return next year. The staff deserve praise too, they're incredibly kind and quick.

The food is truly delicious, and the staff are very friendly. It's just a short walk from the splendid Basilica of San Gerardo and the Mater Domini. I highly recommend it.

We happened to be there for lunch on a day with lots of buses, so it was very crowded. The place is comfortable, though the bed was very hard. The tourist menu catering could use some improvement.
