There's a decent beach just a few steps away, and the place is popular, peaceful, and close to all the basics. The problem is that it's built on a swamp, so the humidity is unbearable and breathing is hard. Unless you're an amphibian, I really wouldn't recommend living here.

It's peaceful and in an excellent neighborhood, with great amenities. The location is also very central for reaching the beaches along the south coast.
