The reception staff were helpful and answered all my questions, and I found the room neat, clean, cozy and quite big. The location was great, about a 20-minute walk to St. Mark's Square. I really liked the hotel, apart from breakfast. The selection was small, and there were no vegetables.

The room was big enough for the three of us and had facilities for wheelchair users. We stayed for two nights, and it was perfect. Mustafa at the front of house was the best host, so friendly, knowledgeable, caring and lovely. Thank you for making our stay even better.

The room we got for three people didn't match the confirmed booking for two separate beds and a sofa bed. Instead, the beds were pushed together and the extra bed squeezed into a tiny space, leaving the room cramped and uncomfortable. The bathroom was nearly unusable. The water swung between scalding hot and freezing cold, and the pressure often dropped to zero. Other guests have reported similar problems in reviews. On top of that, the receptionist became aggressive and verbally abusive toward my friend, shouting offensive language in front of other guests. I felt unsafe and left the hotel immediately. The experience was extremely stressful and disappointing, and I can't recommend Hotel Corte Contarina.

The location was handy, with lots of shops nearby. The room was good, and breakfast was excellent. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. A great hotel.

The room wasn't as advertised, the bathroom had mold, and the appliances didn't work. The place was dirty and run down, the walls were paper-thin, and there were wasps in the stairway. Some rooms are directly beside the breakfast area. There are 72 stairs and no escalator. Twice I couldn't get into the hotel because nobody was at the counter. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I have no idea who considers this a 3-star hotel. Spend the money somewhere beautiful.
