I really like this place.

The setting is lovely, with greenery all around, and the location is fantastic. Inside, though, the upkeep is lacking: the rooms weren't very clean, and the phones don't work.

The location feels like it could be put to better use. The rooms were damp, and my sheets had stains and holes. It was nice in some ways, but not especially comfortable. Since there are no shops nearby, I expected at least the basics for a weekend rental, but they weren't there. There wasn't even a TV in the living room, let alone in each bedroom.

Such lovely people, and a great spot if you want real peace and quiet.

The food brings back the flavors of our grandmothers' cooking, the kind we thought we'd forgotten.
