The quiet, roomy bedrooms and clean bathrooms made this a comfortable place to stay, and the kitchen has everything you need. Set near Piazza Vittoria, it’s easy to get around to Salento’s beautiful spots. The guesthouse is in a century-old building, with a courtyard opening through a Lecce stone arch onto a garden. Giuseppe was an attentive host. Caprarica di Lecce sits in sunny Salento, among struggling olive trees and colorful prickly pears.

We had a lovely stay with friends in the heart of Caprarica di Lecce after Danilo, a dear friend, suggested we visit Puglia. Giuseppe was welcoming and attentive to what his guests needed. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and a living room with a sofa and TV, plus three very large bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. There’s parking in the garden, along with a beautiful plum tree. I’d highly recommend it.

Caprarica is a peaceful, welcoming village, and the property makes a nice base for exploring Salento. Giuseppe puts unusual care into making guests comfortable. The rooms are clean and pleasant, and it’s somewhere I’d happily return to.
