Domus Klara

Breakfast comes with a coupon for a well-stocked bar and pastry shop just a few meters from the B&B. The owner was quick and efficient in handling all our questions and requests during check-in and check-out, even though we never met in person. The room is a lovely little find in the center, just a few meters from the Church of Santa Chiara in the historic center. It was made in what used to be called a "jùse," a room generally below street level that served as a main studio-style home for families or as a firewood store for smaller families. It was finely furnished and had everything needed for a comfortable night: a double bed, wardrobe, coffee table, mini fridge, kettle, and a beautiful bathroom with a shower. There were plenty of lights and LEDs to switch between softer and brighter settings. We also really appreciated the welcome surprise, a chilled mini bottle of Rosé and two flutes on the table. A few things to keep in mind for your own needs, though they didn't affect our opinion: because it's a "jùse," the room sits a few steps below street level and has no windows apart from the entrance door. The bathroom has no window either, but does have a powerful exhaust fan. There's no bidet.

The room was quiet and had lots of amenities, in a very peaceful area. Cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were professional, capable, and ready to help with anything. Highly recommended!

It was a small place, but really welcoming, spotless, and carefully finished in every detail. The bed was super comfortable, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. Since we arrived late, she offered a remote check-in and left the keys in a very handy combination safe.

Domus Klara is on a quiet street near the town square, a lovely spot for a few days in a beautiful village that's waiting to be discovered. The cheerful owner was attentive and especially helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. Our room was tastefully furnished, and breakfast included an excellent cappuccino and pastries from Portanova pastry shop/café.
