Casa Costanza BB

Breakfast arrived every morning, and the owner was so friendly and helpful. The view over the sea in Capri was amazing. We could even see the 5-star hotel down the way, and had the same view ourselves. 10/10, I’d recommend this as a local favorite.

The only real trouble came on our second night, when some guests held what seemed like a party in the room next to ours. A service door connected the rooms, and we were kept awake until late. There’s no concierge on site, so that was difficult to deal with. I can only put limited responsibility for that on the owners, though, and I do recommend the place. Everything else was lovely. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, even baking a whole cake for our arrival. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a hairdryer, plenty of towels, and a large wardrobe with hangers. The balcony had a stunning view of the bay, Capri village, and part of Anacapri. Breakfast supplies were provided in the room: espresso, fruit juice, cookies, yogurt, and cappuccino. Wi-Fi was available too. This really deserved five stars.

The breakfast was the one letdown. It felt basic and could have used fresh fruit and bread, so that’s why I didn’t give five stars. The rooms were nice, with fantastic views, and the service was really friendly and helpful. They even helped us sort out travel after bad weather canceled the ferry from Capri.

The owners are so kind and welcoming, and they bring you homemade cakes every day. The room was clean and nice. I’ll book here again next time I’m in Capri.
