Villa Castello Apartments

We made a simple meal in the small but functional kitchen and enjoyed Capri like residents. The location is a 10/10, just minutes from the Piazza, local bus terminal and taxis. The room was spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and clean. Our hosts were helpful and made us feel incredibly welcome. I look forward to coming back.

The home itself was spotless, with daily cleaning, and the owner has clearly thought through every detail. The comfortable bed and lovely linen made it even better, and the Italian resort-style decor was perfect. We booked Serra, a beautiful little home about a 2 minute walk from the center of Capri. There’s everything you need, and the garden felt like a piece of heaven. The team met us at the taxi station and carried our two large suitcases and two carry-ons to the home, then brought everything back down at checkout. They arranged breakfast in the garden every day for my mom and me. I asked if breakfast could be added without expecting it to be possible, and they asked what we liked, then brought us more than we expected each morning. Their hospitality was fantastic. We asked for natural water and they brought five bottles. We needed bug repellent and they brought three kinds, for the body, indoors and outdoors. Thank you for being so kind and making this stay amazing. You touched our soul. We’ll be back and will tell our friends. If you’re reading this, I don’t think you’ll find anything like this in Capri center. It really is a hidden gem.

We booked without seeing any reviews, which is unusual for us, but we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. It’s not often I feel this comfortable in holiday accommodation, and this place really did it for us. We’re going to book again as soon as we can get back. The apartment is tucked away from the chaos of the main drag, so it’s quiet and peaceful. A small, quiet bar just a couple of doors down is worth a visit, and there are very good restaurants nearby. The place is well furnished, super clean and tidy, and the powerful air conditioning was very welcome in the heat and humidity. They cleaned the apartment and changed the bed three days after we arrived. The meet and greet and checkout were super efficient and friendly. There was Hermes shampoo, plus complimentary wine and water in the fridge. The complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable.

It was so spacious, and the owners were really helpful. Great apartment and location. I’d stay again without a doubt.
