We came for three nights of pure relaxation and got just that. The hotel exceeded our expectations, with a very high standard of accommodation and breakfast. Lunch here a couple of times was delicious, and the atmosphere around the popular pool was relaxing, with good drinks service.

We weren’t staying at the hotel, just stopped by hoping to get refreshments on the terrace. The lemon garden was so stunning that we ended up not going to the terrace. Drinks were good, and the service was friendly and prompt. Recommend.

The hotel is well located, but almost everything else was underwhelming. Our balcony door wouldn’t lock, and the balcony wasn’t elevated, so other people could get to it. The room also had a horrible lingering odor the whole time. We reported both issues immediately. Three different people tried to fix the door over two days and couldn’t; on day three of our four-night stay, they finally offered to move us. The smell was still there after four days. It felt extremely unsafe and unprofessional. They offered champagne as a solution, but that didn’t address the problems. The front desk staff were nice, while the manager wasn’t as nice. No solution has been offered for the trouble, even now. I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve heard better things about the Mamela.

The concierge and staff were amazing, helping us with transport, dinner suggestions, and reservations every step of the way. The hotel sits in the heart of Capri, right by the luxury shops, with lots of small restaurants and coffee shops just around the other side. The views are gorgeous, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms are clean and nice, and the bathrooms are nice too, though the shower is a tight, skinny fit. Like many hotels along the coast, it’s dated, so don’t expect much room tech. Still, it’s clean, comfortable, and beautiful. If you love luxury shopping, it’s a great choice. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be back.

The service stood out most: we felt very well cared for without anyone overdoing it. It made the whole stay feel wholesome and relaxing, and we’d definitely return. The hotel seems very well looked after, and its style isn’t modern, but fits Capri. The pool area is hidden from the public, with mountain views and a soothing atmosphere. There’s also a cozy, beautiful breakfast terrace with a distant ocean view, and a restaurant under the lemon trees.
