No TV in the room, which is great, because the window gives you some of the most stunning views across the Mediterranean. The place has real style and offers a glimpse of old Capri, from before trash tourism. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re inside a Wes Anderson film, you’ll love it. This one isn’t aimed at the infinity pool crowd.

It sounds like a nice hotel on paper, but sleeping there was awful. There’s a nightclub on the property called Rumore, and the music pounds until 4:30am, with bass you can feel in the rooms. We had to wear noise cancelling headphones just to sleep. Avoid it if a good night’s rest matters to you.

We only managed one night at Il Capri Hotel in early June and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s charming and well located, close to everything. One of our best meals in Italy was on the rooftop at the Deviant restaurant. So delicious!

The hotel is stunning, our room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was so good. We stayed two nights and got homemade pastries each day. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. Thanks to fellice and Denise, and all the rest of the team. I loved our stay and can’t recommend the hotel enough.

Breakfast each morning was delicious, and having aperitivo on the rooftop was perfect. The views were unbeatable, the hotel itself gorgeous, and the staff took such great care of us. We were blown away from the moment we arrived. Loved it, and we’ll be back. Can’t recommend it enough.
