J.K. Place Capri

We were staying at the Tiberio Palace, but stopped at JK's for lunch. The setting by the water was wonderful, the staff attentive, and the food and cocktails excellent. Highly recommend.

Being outside the town of capri was a real plus: it was peaceful, away from the tourist bustle, and the hotel’s complimentary shuttle made exploring town easy. The property itself is beautiful, with a lovely lobby and lots of places to sit, great views, and spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff were nice and it was a great stay, but at this price some service problems need sorting out. When we arrived from the ferry, no one was there to meet us. My husband had to carry all our luggage in the boiling heat by himself until someone appeared, and then we waited a long time for the porter. The whole arrival was disorganized and he wasn’t very apologetic. I asked at 18:00 for something in the room to be checked, which doesn’t seem particularly late to me, but they didn’t get back to me until 18:50, when it was too late because my son had fallen asleep. WhatsApp was useful, but the concierge often took a while to reply. I understand requests take time, but it would have helped to get a quick acknowledgment so we knew the message had come through. The shuttle could also take a while. Sometimes we waited 15-20 minutes for pickup, and I think that should be improved during high season.

The sound of waves below was a lovely way to wake up and fall asleep, especially after the crowds and busy pace of Capri. JK felt like a calm little refuge. We usually choose Four Seasons and travel with high expectations, and this gorgeous boutique hotel really delivered. The team seemed to anticipate what we needed, even sorting our pickup and getting ferry and baggage tickets quickly. One of my favorite hotels anywhere.

We got married in Capri and staying at JK Place made the whole trip feel especially memorable. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome whenever we interacted. The room had a comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, walk-in closet, and a patio with an unbeatable view. Breakfast, snacks, and a welcome drink were included, and they also drove us to and from the square. The accommodations and service were top notch. Jake and Sarah are grateful to everyone who made the stay so special.
