Hotel La Minerva

Their transfer service made the journey easy: they organized pickup at Naples Airport, transport to the port, the ferry booking to Capri, and a taxi to the hotel when I arrived. Everything was coordinated smoothly and without stress. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere and a stunning view. Every detail felt cared for, including guests’ comfort and needs. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made me feel at home. I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was unforgettable, and I’ll choose it every time I visit Capri.

La Minerva has the kind of warmth that feels deeply personal. Marco and Antonino made my wife and me feel like family, and you can sense how much pride they take in the hotel and its family history. It’s family owned and operated, and that care comes through everywhere. Kumal looked after us at the pool and at breakfast, which had an excellent spread. He’s been there for 21 years. To me, that says plenty about how the family treats its staff and guests. People don’t stay somewhere that long unless something is deeply right about it. If Kumal retires, I’d happily take his job for free, Marco and Antonino, call me! All I ask is a free room at Minerva and permission to bring my dogs. My wife and I have stayed in beautiful boutique hotels around the world, but this one will stay in my heart, and we’ll definitely return. The decor, family history, ceramics, tiles, setting, and service all felt beautiful and genuine, with real soul. In nearly 50 years, I’ve come to chase experiences that stay with me after I unpack, and this was one of those rare places. The service was impeccable, and the place has an effortless elegance with wonderful attention to detail. The food was refined but still had authentic flavors. The host brought family traditions to it all with warmth, a heartfelt welcome, and a natural, spontaneous touch. An extraordinary experience, and I absolutely recommend it.

What stood out most was how warm and welcoming everyone was. We got in late after a delay and were surprised with an upgrade, which made our day. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, and the turndown service was such a nice touch. We had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend it.
