We found it a little tricky to locate at first, but once you know the back streets, the B&B is very well placed, just a short walk from the main port. The host was friendly and shared useful tips for things to do and places to eat. Breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the harbour and town had a nice range of yogurts, pastries, and fruit. Our room was clean, a good size, and had air conditioning.

The owners were warm, helpful, and always around with plenty of information and advice. The B&B is also conveniently close to the port, though the stairs you have to climb are a hassle. At €200 a night, I didn't feel it was good value. Breakfast was basically a croissant and yogurt left out at 8:00 AM, with drinks in thermoses, and there wasn't even a breakfast basket. The room also felt dated. For less money, I could have called it excellent. I know it's Capri, but still.

Breakfast in the garden was a highlight, with a lovely sea view and lemon trees full of fruit overhead. The small apartment had everything we needed and gave us complete privacy. It's just five minutes from the port and funicular, and Mrs. Vittoria made us feel very well looked after.
